New Publication: New issue of the Bulletins et Mémoires de la Société d’Anthropologie de Paris (BMSAP)

KLI fellow Anne Le Maître, Editor-in-Chief of the journal Bulletins et Mémoires de la Société d'Anthropologie de Paris (BMSAP), with Bérénice Chamel (Institut Français du Proche-Orient, Beyrouth, Lebanon), coordinated the online publication of a new issue of this journal.

This issue is introduced by an invited article by Elise Huchard on male-female relationships across primates, followed by four articles: the description of new human osteological remains from the Scheldt basin, Belgium, an assessment of inter-observer reliability for osteological measurement, a review article on phylogenetic methods, and a study of lower limb asymmetry in anatomically modern humans and Neandertals. The issue also includes a book review on crematorial practices in Ancient Egypt, the list of all PhD and Habilitation theses defended in France in 2025 on the field of biological anthropology, as well as an obituary of the French-Czech anthropologist Jaroslav Bružek, who appears on the cover image of the issue.
